Administrative / Biographical History
The Physical Education Profession Advisory Group (PEPAG) was set up by the Eastern Sports Council in 1968 "to examine the contribution of the physical education profession in the Region to the work of the Eastern Sports Council…and to advise on what steps it should take to enable the profession to make a more effective contribution to the development of community sport and recreation in the Region".
The Principal of Bedford College of Physical Education, Eileen Alexander, served as Chair of PEPAG.
