The regulation allowed the Minister to make an exception to the general requirement that offers of admission to Training Colleges should not be given more than six months before the beginning of the academic year. The requirement was relaxed for I. M. Marsh, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Eastbourne Physical Education Colleges who, as grant-aided colleges, were losing candidates not prepared to wait for an offer of admission to the unrestricted non-grant aided Physical Education Colleges of Anstey, Bedford, Dartford and Nonington.
