Scope and Content

At the first Commonwealth Education Conference held in 1959 the United Kingdom undertook to do all it could to increase the number of teachers serving in developing countries of the Commonwealth. As part of efforts to assist recruitment it sought to obtain information about the number of teachers proceeding to posts overseas.

Contains completed submission from Bedford College of Physical Education with particulars of teachers who left employment or training between September 1960 and August 1961.
