Dance-Drama production: 'Pilgrim's Progress' 1966

Scope and Content

Photograph album containing 28 b/w and colour photographs of a Dance-Drama production of Pilgrim's Progress performed by students of Bedford College of Physical Education on 11-14 May 1966. The performance was part of the town of Bedford's celebrations to mark the 800th anniversary of the granting of a Royal Charter by Henry II to the Borough, and to also mark the official opening of the College's Dance-Drama Hall.

The images include scenes from the performance itself, the makeshift dressing room and scenery. Inserted in the back of the album are an additional 14 loose photographs, some of which are included in the album, and a programme.
