Administrative / Biographical History

The International Association of Physical Education and Sports for Girls and Women (IAPESGW) was founded in 1949 to support and bring together professionals from around the world working in the fields of physical education and sports, and to represent and promote the interests of girls and women in these fields. International congresses were held every four years.

Eileen Alexander served as the UK representative on the IAPESGW Council of Representatives (circa 1966-67).
