Bedford Physical Training College student (1919-1922) and member of staff (1923-1930).
Following completion of her training at Bedford Physical Training College in 1922, Aileen Carr went to St. Thomas' Hospital for a further year of training in Massage, Medical Gymnastics and Electricity before returning to teach at Bedford in 1923. She obtained her Teacher's Certificate of the Chartered Society of Massage and Medical Gymnastics (C.S.M.M.G.) in November 1925. Aileen left the teaching staff after her marriage to Alister Farr in April 1930. She later returned to the College as the College Nurse before retiring in 1945 but continued to help with hockey coaching.
