Administrative / Biographical History

In 1926 J. Trevor Roberts, solicitor, of Caernarfon, was appointed as the collector of crown rents for the manors in Anglesey, by John Roddam Drinkwater, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Receiver of His Majesty's Rents. The Crown's manors in Anglesey included the hundreds of Llifon, Malltraeth, Menai, Talybolion and the town of Newborough.
