matters such as the issuing of notices and letters, ordering ballot papers and the administration of the polls and counts. The elections covered are the General Elections of 1906, January and December 1910, 1918, 1922, 1923, 1924, 1929, 1931, 1935 and 1945, the South Oxfordshire by-election of June 1917 and the North Oxfordshire by-election of September 1918. There is a newspaper cutting relating from "The Times" for 26 April 1935 relating to the history of the office of High Sheriffe loose at he back of the volume.
