Administrative / Biographical History

Lucy Shepherd of 59 Eastgate, Cowbridge, was the owner of the photograph album found in this collection. The photographs of the Cowbridge Scouts feature George Charles Shepherd, on leave from the Hong Kong Police, who lived at 5 Church Street, Cowbridge and died in September 1911

Custodial History

The photographs were presented by Lucy Shepherd's son. Many of the photographs have been identified by the late Colin Adams, who appears in the photograph of the Cowbridge Grammar School cricket team
