Administrative / Biographical History
Briton Ferry Copper Works was established in 1853 and operated by Sweetland, Tuttle and Company until at least 1874. Mr Barclay operated them at some point between 1874 and 1880. Cape Copper Mining Company Limited operated the works 1880-1888 and the Cape Copper Company Limited 1888-c1926.
