Administrative / Biographical History
Hugh Begg attended Glasgow Veterinary College during sessions in 1885, 1886 and 1887. He graduated in 1887 and was admitted to membership of the RCVS on 19th April 1887. Subsequently he became a Fellow on 18 May 1912. He retired in 1935 and died in 1948, having spent his working life in East Kilbride as County Veterinary Officer and in Hamilton as Chief Veterinary Officer, County Offices, Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland.
