Scope and Content

Papers relating to the impact of homelessness on families, which culminated in a national conference at the British Library 8 Feb 2002, and the MA publication 'Lives on Hold: Homeless Families' (2002). Material for a number of earlier studies by other organisations is included: questionnaires for the Social Science Research Unit study entitled 'Social Support and Family Health', and details of 'Making Services Work for Homeless Women' and 'The Offspring Project', both carried out by Health Action for Homeless People. The MA study, entitled 'Pregnant Women and New Families Living in Temporary Accommodation in London', was carried out by Mary Sawtell
