Papers and letters of Kenneth Grahame, his wife Elspeth and his sister-in-law Winifred Hope Thomson, including papers relating to The Wind in the Willows, correspondence with publishers, letters from Grahame to his wife, and photographs of and by Winifred H. Thomson.

Administrative / Biographical History

Kenneth Grahame (1859-1932) was an author and the Secretary of the Bank of England. He married Elspeth Thomson in 1899. Details are given in the Dictionary of National Biography.
