Photograph, grave and surrounding countryside, inscription on reverse in Holme's writing: 'The Hon Evelina Haverfield's grave in Serbia at Bajina Basta. On this side of the cross is the inscription in English. This stone was put up by her unit who continued her work, also some of her friends in England. The [?...] granite for the cross was given by Captain Nadic who owned some quarries and [?...] and the cross was copied from an old Celtic cross found (I believe in Iona). The foundation stone was laid by her friend Vera Holme on July 29th 1922.'
