Writer has been trying to get a decision out of the Charity Commissioners, and hopes that the money will be able to go to Dr McPhail's hospital soon. Discusses the Consultative Committee of Women's Organisations, with which she is working, under the aegis of Lady Astor: 'when you get the Six Point Group and the Freedom Leadue and the rest of us, 'co-operating' with the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA), and the British Women's Temperance and so forth … there is bound to be a clash!'. Discusses her work at the recent election.
