1. John Forbes Calland. of the Gnoll Near Neath in the County of Glamorgan, esquire and Augustus Percival Calland of Cricklewood, Middlesex, esquire; 2. The said John Forbes Calland and Augustus Percival Calland and Frederick Calland of Hertford Street Mayfair, Middlesex esquire; 3. Phillip Richard of Ravenhill in the said County of Glamorgan and John Glasbrook of Morriston in the said County of Glamorgan, Colliery Proprietors trading under the firm or style of "Richard and Glasbrook"; Lease of land in the Parish of Llangyfelach, Glamorgan and Licence to Convert Pottery Buildings into any other works or manufactories except Alkali works, for the same term and lives as above, that is 63 years and 3 lives, with a yearly rent of £40 per annum in half yearly payments on 25 March and 29 September and also yielding and paying £22 and 10 shillings in half yearly proportions on 25 March and 29 September and also yielding and paying to the person or persons for the time being entitled during the said term the sum of 6 pence per way of ten tons for all ores metals, coal culm, clay, minerals and other marketable substances or substance, converted or manufactures' into marketable commodity. Limestone or other timber pilwood or other materials to be brought or carried over the said piece of land firstly described to commence as from Lady Day 1859 and the rent for the wayleaves to be accounted for in half yearly payments on 25 March and 29 September in each year without deduction or abatement. Also yielding and paying to the person or persons for the time being entitled as aforesaid during the said term the sum of 6 pence per way of ten tons of all ores, metals, coal culm, clay, minerals or other marketable substances or substance to be converted or manufactured in any marketable commodity limestone or other stone timber, pitwood or other materials to be brought or carried over the said piece or pieces of land, secondly and thirdly described (Except materails manufactured on the said premises) brought from the Canal or River Tawe, such rent to wayleaves as last aforesaid to be accounted for and paid half yearly on 25 March and 29 September, without any deduction or abatement whatsoever, and to commence and to be completed from Michaelmas 1859. 23 August, 1860
