Item 1: 1 double-sided letter (21 September 1950) addressed to 'Uncle Arthur, Dora & Rosemary [Foot]', from 'Iris', who appears to have been based at Emmanuel Hospital Nanning (Kwangsi, South China). Refers to matters such as: Children's mission, Day school / compound, the hospital, Moon festival, and that 'things are quiet in Nanning, although there are a lot of bandits in the country districts'.
