Scope and Content

Pamela Anderson helped to organise (as part of Status of Women Committee), the Golden Jubilee Meeting of Votes for Women 1918-1968 which was held on 27 Mar 1968 at the Central Hall, Westminster.

Consists of:

- press release - typescript of speech by Dame Joan Vickers, Chair of Status of Women Committee

- press release - typescript of Ann Mallalieu's speech (Ann first women to be elected President of Cambridge Union; Geraldine Jones first women to be elected President of the Oxford Union)

- typescript of Baroness Summerskill's speech and Miss Nan Whitelaw's speech (representative of the Union of Post Office Workers)
