COPY LETTER: R. Lloyd Hughes to Mr Owen stating that he has inspected the cob with Mr Cronin of the Board of Agriculture, a representative of the county council, and the Caernarvon harbour master. Mr Cronin believed that the effect of the tide flowing through the breach in the cob at high tide could not possibly affect the height of water at Dwyran. He also stated that the breach is gradually being closed by the formation of a high bank of shingle forming on the sea side. The depositor states that Mr R. Lloyd Hughes was chairman of the Works Committee of the Harbour Trust.
