The Printmakers Council’s ‘ Handbook of Printmaking Supplies ’ was first published on 2 December 1977 and was launched at the Thumb Gallery (20-21 D’Arblay Street, London) where orders for £700 of volumes were taken. The book was subsidised by Craft Advisory Committee and the Arts Council of Great Britain. An update (revision no. 1) was published in Newsletter March 1979 ( AAD/2015/8/8/1/5 AAD/2015/8 Newsletter 1979).
