  • Rigging plan for paddle steamer Alexandra , no 188 (built by Scotts’ Shipbuilding and Engineering Co Ltd), 1879

Administrative / Biographical History

This artificial collection of ship plans (mainly rigging plans) for Clyde-built ships was originally held by the Special Collections department of the Mitchell Library, then transferred to Glasgow City Archives, before coming to University of Glasgow Archive Services.

These plans were transferred on 3 March 2004 from Glasgow City Archives, their reference TD 1546. They were originally held by Special Collections department of the Mitchell Library, then transferred to Glasgow City Archives.
