Also included are papers relating to James Owen, Presbyterian minister; account books belonging to John Thomas of Penddol, Llanllwni and to David Davies ('Dafydd y Gof') of Pencarreg, Carmarthenshire; a manuscript in the hand of the Reverend David James ('Dewi o Ddyfed'); and sermons in the hand of the Reverend John Owen, Thrussington.

John Davies (1860-1939), bibliographer and genealogist, was born in Llandysul, Cardiganshire. He was largely self-taught and worked for a number of years at the National Library of Wales, where many of his manuscripts are now stored.
