(i) Thomas Salesbury, esq., sheriff of Flintshire.
(ii) John Cleydale.
To execute a writ in the court of the township of Hopedale between Gruffith ap David ap Gruffith and Llewelyn ap Madoc Vighan.
Annexed: Writ from Henry, Prince of Wales to the sheriff of Flintshire to attend the court of the township of Hopedale with four soldiers to record the evidence in a case of debt between Llewelyn ap Madoc Vighan, and Gruffith ap David ap Gruffith. 13 February 1504/5.
(Reason given for above is that Edward Lloid, steward of the court, who hold the pleas, is a relative of said Gruffith).
