Administrative / Biographical History

All details regarding J N Tattersall have been collated from within this collection. He appears to have been a member of Middleton and Tonge Industrial Society between 1953-1990. In 1955 he was employed in the CWS Manchester Men's Wear Department and was applying for a position in the National Soap Sales Organisation. Items within the collection suggest he obtained this position. He was also a long time member of the National Association of Co-operative Officials and a member of the CWS Employees' Sports Association.
