Manuscript letter. Written from the American Colony, Jerusalem. Has had two telegrams lately from London announcing great success of the Suffrage Meeting at which Mr. Baldwin spoke. I had feared they were going to attempt to back a disfranchising clause to our bill on account of receipt of the dole. This could have lacked the support of the Labour Party and imperilled the chances of their Bill.
