Administrative / Biographical History

Jeux was originally choreographed by Nijinsky in 1913 for Diaghilev's Ballets Russes with designs by Bakst and music by Debussy. It was first reconstructed for the Verona Ballet in 1996 and was subsequently reconstructed for in 2000 for The Royal Ballet, Covent Garden, London; in 2001 for the Rome Opera Ballet, and the Joffrey Ballet.
