The company was incorporated in January 1964 as The Golden Egg Properties Limited and changed its name to King & Queen Inns Ltd June 1968. The company operated in the hospitality sector and became a subsidiary of Scottish and Newcastle Breweries plc in July 1980. The company was dissolved in 2006.
