This collection consists of one album containing [forged] autographs of various literary and other figures (incl. Isaac Newton, Alfred Tennyson, Charles Dickens, Dorothy Stanley, Elizabeth I, Robert Burns), late 19th century.

Samuel Englefield (fl 1897) was a collector of autographs, based in Henley on Thames, Oxford. It has not been possible to trace more information on his life and interests.
