Scope and Content

i. 9 March 1818 - Liverpool - (All to Hunneman.) Acknowledges seeds. Mr. Griffin asked for bulbs Amaryllis psittachina or Pancratium from Africa. Is sending Mr. Otto a few things.

ii. 21 July 1818 - Liverpool - Welcoming J.H. to Liverpool.

iii. 22 September 1818 - Liverpool - Acknowledges plants, books, coins, etc. Has had visits from Macrey from Glasgow, McNab and Sir. James Smith. Sending bulbs Lilum tigrinum and Amaryllis crocata other plants, potatoes and apples.

iv. 16 November 1818 - Liverpool - Has sent apples, ferns and potatoes. Has no Haemanthus coccineus to spare. List of plants follows.

v. 19 December 1818 - Liverpool - Ferns sent to Curt Sprengel. Sending seeds from the East. Dr. Wallich. Seeds of ferns (sic) "from our Moscow friend."

vi. 19 December 1818 - Liverpool - Seeds from East Indies.

vii. 3 April 1819 - Liverpool - Pine suckers. List of 50 plants.
