Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
These books were purchased at various dates by predecessors of the De Montfort University Library. The majority have subjects which do not reflect the teaching strengths of the university. It is believed therefore that they were purchased as examples of bookbinding, leatherworking, typography and lettering for students of those subjects.
