Scope and Content

Collection of photocopied letters from Geoffrey Jefferson to James Hardman and to Ernest Finch. Hardman retained the letters which were later acquired by Norman Guthkelch who sent these photocopies to Peter Schurr (author of So that was life). James Hardman was an assistant to Jefferson at MRI before working at Fulwood Hospital and was the first neurosurgeon to be appointed in Sheffield.
