Scope and Content

'A cattalogue of the Knightes of the Bath, made by King Henry the Eight, at his coronation...1509. And likewise of the Knightes Bannerets made by the said King. Togeather with their severall coats of armes, creasts and quarterings. As allso the coats, creasts quarterings, and marriages of divers others of the nobilitie and gentry, of this kingdome. Collected by Isaac [S____] 1650'. The volume is cropped, with some loss of text; the name of the compiler has been obliterated. It has the ownership inscription 'C. Capon, 1792'.
