Scope and Content

Manor Way-Ash Grove Action Group records comprising of minutes, correspondence and copies of official reports and other papers

Administrative / Biographical History

Manor Way-Ash Grove Action Group was formed in 1976 to campaign against proposals by central government to construct a single access point from the projected M4 motorway on the north side of Cardiff. Campaigners were concerned that a single access point, rather than two, would lead to increased traffic on Manor Way and a deterioration of environmental conditions.
