Sketches of characters, and characters in settings in graphite and watercolour on seven sheets of paper, including a detailed maritime scene, (Act 1, Scene 3) inscribed in graphite with ms notes on colours and sets including the character's name Bishop. The three watercolours without notes mounted on paper seem to be Hockley's 'finished sketches, the pin holes in the top corners indicating that they had been pinned up.
