Sketches of characters, and characters in settings in graphite and watercolour on 30 sheets of paper and two on cartridge paper mounted onto paper, inscribed in graphite with details of colours and settings. The two graphite and watercolour sketches on cartridge paper seem to be Hockley's 'finished sketches, the pinholes in the top corners indicating that they had been pinned up. With an original folder inscribed in pencil by Hockley: 'Tempest 31st /12/04 ' and a newspaper cutting of a review of the production from the Morning Post, 15 Sep1904. Incuding references to the characters Calaban (sic), Masque, Sebastien, Alonzo, Ariel 'Ferdinand' and 'Triculo'.
