Manuscript notes for a speech on women's suffrage. Welcomes the Prime Minister's conversion to the suffrage cause, feels Mrs Pankhurst's dismissal of this to be 'shortsighted and unworthy. Let the PM be as great a villain as you please, we cannot read his heart, and it is a great event in WS when he says in his place in parliament publicly and openly 'I cannot deny their claim'.'
