Much archival material was rescued by Cyril McCombe from the drawing office of the Bodley foundry when it closed in 1967. The drawings were passed to the Mills Archive in 2003 to be photocopied, and were then sent on to the Devon Record Office, Exeter where the rest of the material had been placed.
