As promised when he saw them, he encloses two bonds of the City of Mexico, one for each of them, as tokens of his affection and esteem [enclosures not present]; no particular thanks are necessary as he will not miss this small sum; the interest is 25 shillings, payable quarterly, which is £5 per annum for each bond; their bankers will cash the coupons directly for them; they should keep the bonds in a safe place as they are transferable like banknotes; he is sure the manager of the Wilts and Dorset Bank will lock them up for them, as their father banks there
