Scope and Content

Parties: 1) Rt Hon Sir William Cecill Lord Burghley, Lord Treasurer and Master of the Court of Wards & Liveries, and Thomas Sekford, Surveyor of the Court

2) George Boothe esq (1566-1652) son and heir of Sir William Boothe (1540-79) dec'd

The Crown has granted to (2) a special livery to enter into all the lordships, manors, lands etc. that descended to him from his father Sir William Bouthe.

(1) covenants for the veracity of the annexed valor, promising to pay into the Court twice the yearly value of any estates omitted.
