Scope and Content

Letter from [Sir] H[enry] M[ainwaring] Mainwaring [bart] to Lord Stamford (/24), dated 11 April 1820. Describes recent outings with the [Cheshire] fox-hounds and discusses subscriptions to the hounds. Asks for permission to send some fox-hound whelps to Lord Stamford's walks.

Enclosed is a draft of Lord Stamford's reply (/25), dated 15 April. He will gladly provide walks for some whelps, but not immediately.
