Letter from Percy Macquoid to Lady Stamford. Encloses full-size plans of candlesticks [for the Chapel, EGR7/20/14/20-21 below], and discusses their design. He recommends that they are turned from walnut by Morant & Co. or another London firm, "for I know you are very particular about proportion & I do not see how I can watch & correct them if not made in London". [See also EGR7/20/8/6 below.]
"If you want to do the Stamford Gallery I will find out what it will cost if you will kindly send me rough plan. Personally I am not very fond of paper in so stately a house as Dunham, except in the bedrooms, but will do anything you wish."
