The following papers were found enclosed together in a wrapper addressed to Lord Grey from the War Office. They relate to payment by the War Office of the cost of the permanent duty call-out of the King's Regiment of Cheshire Yeomanry Cavalry:
/49: Copy in the hand of Lord Grey of the estimate for the sum required for the five days' exercise by the corps in September, dated 13 August 1835.
/50: Note in the hand of Capt. Joseph Barra, adjutant, enclosing a copy of the return sent by Lord Grey to the Secretary of State for War on 14 August.
/51: Letter from L[aurence] Sulivan, War Office, to Lord Grey, dated 29 August. A bill for the amount of the estimate for training and exercising will be sent to Lord Grey on receipt of the return.
/52: Copy letter from Lord Grey to Sulivan, dated 7 September at Dunham Massey. Forwards the required return.
