Scope and Content

The two letters from Rev Edward Smyth to George Harry Grey (1765-1845), Lord Grey, later 6th Earl of Stamford, concern Lord Grey's becoming a vice-president of the newly-formed Auxiliary Society in Manchester for Promoting Christianity Amongst the Jews.
