Letter from J. Compton Hall to Lord Stamford. Encloses the remaining accounts for the work at Dunham Massey Hall, covering the recent work in alterations to the Lodge, the Saloon steps and certain other repairs in the Hall [EGR7/20/1/11 above]. The total is £130 12s 6d. He regrets that alterations to his previous work caused this expense. As his work is now completed he thanks Lord and Lady Stamford for their kindness "during this long & difficult work". He trusts that the whole scheme has worked out well and given general satisfaction. He will be very grateful if Lord Stamford can recommend him to any of his friends.
