Property: a parcel of land in Dunham Massey called "the Bendeye" adjoining River Bollin (2 a.), with all salt-springs, brine-springs, salt-waters and salt-pits therein; also closes in Dunham Massey called "Hermyttes Faughe" (2 a.) and "Little Broadfield", and a lane leading alongside it to the "Hermyttes Faughe", with liberty to make and carry salt, and to carry other materials.
Terms: to (2) for the lives of his 3 sons, thereafter to (3) for 99 years.

Consideration: £200 from (2) to (1a).
Covenants: (1) are to be allowed to set up 2 salt-pans. (1) will not permit any other party to set up salt works or make salt on any of the lands of (1) during the said terms. (1) are to be allowed to crop and graze any part of "the Bendeye" not used for salt-making. Lessees are to supply (1) with coal for working the 2 pans.
