The British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies (originally the British Association for Soviet, Slavonic and East European Studies) is the professional association of British academic specialists in Slavonic and East European Studies, formed in 1988 on the merger of the British Universities Association of Slavists and the National Association for Soviet and East European Studies.
