as he is about to undergo an operation he thinks it wise to set out certain wishes concerning the conduct of his funeral, and provision for his mistresses, Elizabeth Forbes and Elizabeth Taylor and the latter's son, William, whom he believes to be his child, explaining that he does so, trusting his brother's discretion, because he does not wish the publicity which making a codicil to his will would involve.
