Scope and Content

From Tho[ma]s M. Lee to the editor of the Sphinx magazine [JHN]. Lee criticises what he perceives to be the disparity between a placard advertising the contents of an edition of the Sphinx and the actual contents. To JHN's response, that he may wish to take his "penny a week" elsewhere, Lee replies that he would not wish to do so as he had been a loyal reader of the Sphinx since its commencement, under its previous name the Free Lance.
