Scope and Content

The file contains correspondence and enclosures mainly focused on discussions with quantity surveyors Flint & Neill regarding the costs, fixings, equipment temperatures, testing and other issues and problems with the equipment, including standby power generation, foyer lighting, paint frame elevators, safety curtain, lower theatre side stage area, air flow in the Cottesloe, the recording studio, telephone systems and distribution systems, technical electrical installation, communications in the plant control room, loading, dimmer room ventilation ducts and overheating in the control, memory and dimmer rooms. Several contractors are also contacted regarding problems such as overheating, and their is a brief exchange with the Greater London Council (GLC) regarding air conditioning and ventilation systems.
