Scope and Content

Thanks him for his letter and hopes the portrait is liked (a copy of a missionary portrait [?John Wesley] by [Frank Owen] Salisbury). Thoughts on the portrait and her religious convictions as a Roman Catholic. Her father's [Antonio Xavier Trindade] work as an artist. Comments on the racial prejudice she saw in the United States when she lived there for three years. Sees her art as part of her Christian faith.
